Travel-Related Service Fees: What to Expect
All iVirtuAssist fees are independent of all carrier/airline fees. The fees we charge are for the use of our service, per transaction, and cannot be waived. It is the responsibility of each traveler to pay all airline fees and obtain all applicable information related to those fees, to eliminate confusion, in advance of using our services.
Your itinerary and/or quote request will itemize all fees charged by the carrier/airlines and will be subject to booking in accordance with carrier/airline policy. All iVirtuAssist fees cannot be applied towards the cost of a trip under any circumstance.
We accept all major credit or debit cards with a Visa or Mastercard logo. We do not accept any other form of payment towards the use of any travel-related services.

- Trip Research/Quote Request Fees:
All travel requests require processing which may require extensive research; including, price comparison(s) to obtain the best value possible for our traveler(s). Quote, request fees are applicable each time our services are used to generate a quote and are non-refundable and non-transferable. Quoted fares and availability are subject to change until ticketed and are guaranteed only at the time of purchase:
- Standard Quote Request Fee (5 or Fewer Travelers) $15.00
- Groups/Complex Quote Request Fee (6 or More Travelers) $20.00
- Trip Purchase/Booking Fees:
In addition to Quote Request Fees, booking fees will be applied if our services are utilized to finalize travel arrangements with any carrier. Unlike Quote Request fees, booking Fees are charged per person and applicable each time our services are used to make a new reservation. These additional fees are necessary to make the reservation, which could mean re-pricing if the rate quoted has expired or is no longer available. Booking fees are non-transferable and non-refundable:
- Individual Domestic Travel – 35.00 per person
- Individual International Travel – 50.00 per person
- Groups/Complex – 75.00 per person
- Trip Changes/Exchange Fees
Applicable each time there are changes to the original itinerary, regardless of circumstance, whenever the reservation has been confirmed. Exchange fees are always quoted in advance and vary according to the difficulty of the exchange. Exchange fees are charged in addition to carrier/airline fees and cannot be waived. Exchange fees are non-transferable and non-refundable:
- Individual (Domestic Travel) – Varies According to Difficulty of Exchange
- Individual (International Travel) – Varies According to Difficulty of Exchange
- Groups/Complex – Varies According to Difficulty of Exchange
- Custom Services/Special Service Fees:
NOTE: This fee is Not Applicable to All Trips – We will contact you, in advance, to inform if the fee will apply along with an itemization of the charges.
So, what are Special Service Fees? They are applicable each time an itinerary requires special handling; such as making hard to get restaurant reservations or designing a destination wedding. Special service fees may also be applied if agent assistance is required to assist with filling out a quote request on a customer’s behalf.
